Out of interest, what's the highest mileage everybody's seen on a car?

I know someone who has a K-reg Peugeot 106 XN 1.4D last time I saw it a couple of months ago it had 192,000 on the clock. Mostly origanl parts. Still going strong, although very slow and tired. Poor thing!

Ok that definitely beats me. That's amazing though! Can't imagine why anybody would buy a car with that much mileage.

As sad as that sounds, i will actually stop by the roadside and do something!!!!

I might write "happy 80,000th mile" on the bonnet in mud

Oh the words "ex taxi" just reminded me.

My mate's Dad: Peugeot 806 (ex taxi) 1.9TD ... 236,000. Just about every part except the engine itself was replaced to keep it going. But having a few rides in it, it was hard to call it a car. It sounded like it was held together with string it was that bad.

Finally got sold for scrap last year when it's 3rd gearbox packed up.
