woowoozetec
Hi. I own a Focus Zetec 1.8 TDCi estate. Can anyone tell me if it is fitted with a DPF? It was registered on 31.1.08. If it does have one, how long do they last, and how much are they to replace? Thanks

Thanks See This But that said I know Volvo [Ford owned] are using DPF's that don't need replacing, in later models circa 2008. Best bet is contact a Ford dealer, or parts supplier, give him you registration number or Vin number. And they will be able to tell you which DPF it has. Below is a quote from a thread on the Volvo forum, the vehicle in question is a Volvo S40 2.0D SE [same engine as Ford put in the Focus 2.0 TDCI] "im about to get this sorted myself. mines the 72k service which requires the replacement of the DPF. price from simon is £376 and additive is £64. ive been quoted 1 hours labour at a volvo specialist to change them and reset the computer settings"
