Teething Problems

Hi all, my dads just picked up his St220 this evening and weve noticed a few things with it.

Numbero uno the center console (bit with the !Removed! lighter and cup holder) keeps coming out when you try to take the !Removed! lighter out is this just a simle swap over with another mk3 mondeo or does it have to be bespoke to the car

Numbero due the rear reflector in the bumper on the left hand side dosent seem to be reflecting (petty but im a perfetionist) is this just a sticky cover

Numbero three when the lights are on the rear is there supposed to be a full circle made up of approx 3 bulbs because the bottom of both circles dosent seem to connect as if there is a bulb out on both sides

Last one how do i activate the rain sensors if the car even has them becasue it has light sensors thats just a simple set to auto function so im assuming it has the rain ones aswell

numero uno, i think the panel for the ciggie lighter is standard unless ures is a different colour

numero duo don't know as my cars not as posh a model as ures!

numero three ive had this problem and it turned out to be blown bulbs, unless ures are lexus type

finally im not so sure that light sensors automatically mean that the car has rain sensors,

but im sure other members will know the rest!

Its the standard black cruddy ford plastic with the fake chrome ring round the holder part between the seats lol

I though all phase 3's had the fleckers in the bumpers just going of ones down my street though

Damn was hoping it has rain sensors lol seems to have everything bloodey else to eventually go wrong but that! ford eh

the panel is the same except for the chrome ring on the lighter which is probably changeable to the new panel.

it might have the rain sensor but its not a forgon conclusion purely because of the light sensor.

The chrome ring is just the bit around the cup holder the lighter has a green ring around it that lights up at night if i remember correctly though its exactly the same as the one we had in an 03plate zetec i think its going to be a simple nip to the scrappy and get one jobby hopefully.

I'll have a gander for the rain sensor tonight my dads thrashed it i mean taken it to work today to show off his new beast lol and cheers! my dads wanted one for like yearssssss so ive got the feeling this mondeo is going to be in the family for quite some time!
