Kasper-N
Whenever i use the washer jets they always leave washer fluid on the bonnet, seems like they aren't properly sealed between the bonnet and the washer itself. Just think it's a bit irritating, does anobody else have this and have anybody 'fixed' them? :P
LeeZetecS
No sorry pal, maybe talk to your local service dept about resolving it.. sounds annoying tho Exposed to those tempretures i'm surprised the doors havent fallen off! :D
Jordan ZS
Exactly the same problem mate, i was thinking of just mentioning it on its first service?
james_60
Hi Think iam going mad (maybe already) I thought that in cold countrys that the washer jets are heated correct me if iam wrong. Also if they are not heated how the hell are they supposed to work in countries like scandinavia/Russia or anywhere that has very harsh winters. Jcoventry
Also if they are not heated how the hell are they supposed to work in countries like scandinavia/Russia or anywhere that has very harsh winters. Most cars don't have heated jets, its still a bit of a luxury thing, kinda.
james_60
My washer jets would not work with minus 5 let alone minus 30. are there any aftermarket kits out there.
DanGull
This would drive me nuts - screen wash is a brilliant stripper of wax/sealant so if you're waxing your car you have big holes in your protection.

Jamie Usually we have special winter liquids till -30 - -40°C ;) (based on etylenglycol) @Kasper-N, check the hose that is going to the jets, in a right corner of a bonnet it is usually bent and the pump is not strong enough to push the water to the glass so it is than leaking over bonnet. james_60
Hello harweyco. Where can i buy/order some of that screenwash. Jamie
Kasper-N
My washer jets would not work with minus 5 let alone minus 30. are there any aftermarket kits out there. The washer fluid you get here doesn't freeze in temperatures above 25 - 40. This would drive me nuts - screen wash is a brilliant stripper of wax/sealant so if you're waxing your car you have big holes in your protection. That is what i'm worried about plus it cannot be good for the paint. @Kasper-N, check the hose that is going to the jets, in a right corner of a bonnet it is usually bent and the pump is not strong enough to push the water to the glass so it is than leaking over bonnet. There is nothing wrong with the hose, there is a leakage between the washer jets and the bonnet. I'm going to take a look at them later, has anyone here taken them off before? Chris Ecc
I get this too mate, it seems to just leak down the bonnet from the jets when you use them, if you find a solution be sure to post it :)

Does it really kill the wax as bad as that?
