limbo Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 If your plate is on retention then you have twelve months in which to asign it to your next car, If you have sent the retention form away with your reg doc for the new car then you must display the new number asap or your vehicle will not show on the DVLA computer which could cause you problems if you where to be stopped for any reason.
