from anglia 1200 super in 1973 through a sierra 2000 estate, via a granada 2000 ghia :wub: :wub: love of my life,... to a ka for her indoors and a 1.8 tdci focus estate ....never far from henry's finest all my driving life..

I learnt to drive in my Mum's Ford Anglia way back in 73 and since then I have had an Escort 1300 GT Mk 1; Cortina Mk 2;

Escort van (got a job as a sales rep for a tv rental firm and that was my company vehicle); Escort estate; Fiesta 1100L; Cortina Mk

5; Escort XR3i; Fiesta XR2; Escort RS Turbo; Orion Inj Ghia; Escort XR3i cabriolet.

I've had a bit of a break just recently but now back with a vengeance as my other half Janet's on her second Ka---soon she will get her

third one--a beautiful black Sportka--something she has always wanted!

And very shortly I'll be back in Henry's club as I have a brand new Fiesta on order! B) :D

First one I owned was a Zodiac in 1960. Tokk an hour just to polish the chrome and did nearly 18mpg. I have a Mony V6 Ghia x now with Granadas, escorts and Cortinas in between. Oh! and a Vauxhall 101 :(

First car was a Mk2 Fiesta, which I owned for 8 months in 1994. Sold that when I bought my house in 1995. Had a break till 2003 when I bought a Mondeo TDi which I kept till 2004. Then I got my current Focus TDDi in June 2004.

How long have you owned a Ford? I reckon I've had mine going on seven years now. I'm not sure, I've lost all insurance details and information for the car, and there's a possibility it was stolen in the first place. I'm also going blind in my left eye and tend to trail off topic randomly in long conversations. Did you guys see that movie last night?

Anyways, going back to my original topic. Can anyone suggest a good eye surgeon, or should I just take the thing out with a spoon?

I have owned fords for more than 50 years the way to be really happy with the with the vehicle is to find an honest motor mechanic to do your servicing and the odd repair, the only time you use a main dealer is when you need a new car as you have no other choice.
Ford like all other manufacturers have ruined their reputations by letting their dealers openly cheat and treat Ford buyers with contempt we shall soon all be buying from the chinese and japanese manufacturers so ends an era.
but to answer your question go to your local ford dealer he will assure you he can handle your problem by using a special ford design silver spoon at a cost of less than a million pounds plus vat

Hi everyone, I'm new here, I just bought my first Ford Focus last month, I am very fussy with what car's I buy, I had a wee corsa for years and loved it but decided to change and I bought a Clio, I got it all done up, ran it for 2 years and made a profit on it when I sold it, so last November I wanted a Pug 206 (against everyone's advice) I bought a PUG 206 gti in Novemeber, I got fully comp insurance for 300 (approx) but I drove the car from Glasgow to Blackpool and then up to Aviemore, but I hated the car, just wasn't good to drive so I sold it when I got home and went and bought a Ford Focus and I can tell you I LOVE this car. It's only a 1.4 (not powerful) but its so good on petrol and it looks good and it drives so SMOOTH!
