powerball
Hi i know the old type of radios would let you re-enter the radio code after about 50 mins if you leave the ignition on postion 1 with the radio on, however for this to work you can not drive the vehicle or open the doors or operate anything on the car basisally no voltage movement. if you are unsure the radio code is correct contact you local Ford dealer and for a few quid they should be able to give you the code, they will need the serial number of the radio

artscot79
Did you try leaving for 50 minutes as above? on some radios you need to leave it up to 24 hours switched on ie connected to abattery or take it to a radio repairer who can bypass the security lock out which is what you have someone has repeatedly entered the wrong code and in those cases the radio can be stolen so ide be careful of what you do as it was eBay youhave no proof that the person owned it its rare to get a locked out stereo and ford will ask questions as to how and why it got locked out in the first place

gpam2
Hello,.....and thanks for responses....yes, I've left it connected for 24hours but still won't give me the opportunity to input the security code........so I guess I'll have to take it to a radio specialist.....brgds.
