carolanntincan
Help. We bought our Fiesta Zetec yesterday. We were out all day untill late and when we came back to the car and pressed the fob the unlock the door the all the lights came on for us. Fair enough, nice touch, but when we got home, put the car in the garage, locked it and noticed the footwell lights and a red light round the glove box remained on. We looked at the manual but there is nothing in about it. We kept turning ignition on and then off. But they still stayed on. After half an hour my husband managed to turn them off but doesnt know how. He turned engine on an off again and pulled indictater stick a few times. Can anyone tell us either, how to turn them off because we dont need them or how to turn them off when you get out of the car at night. Probably something simple but it is doing our heads in. Please help. Thank you. Carol

If you get out and don't lock the doors, the courtesy and footwell lights should go out after a couple of minutes, the red strip and dash lights should go out after about 15 mins. However, if you lock the vehicle, then they should all go out as it is locked. Stewart.
