Throttle Surge 2009 1.6 Tdci Normal?

2 posts in this topic

I've noticed every now and again I get a brief surge in power (as if throttle was blipped a little). Only lasts maybe a second, but it's happening without my changing the throttle. Is this normal? I'm thinking maybe it's a side effect of a DPF regeneration kicking off? Car's done 15000 miles, mainly motorway work, but is driven gently normally (I achieve an average of over 60mpg). Doing about 750 miles/week.

(Picture just for fun ;-))
