mattgod69
Hi My partner was driving our S Max (2.2 Titanium 09 plate) to Sainsburys today but on the way smoke was visible inside the vehicle along with a burning smell. The car was stopped and the AA called, he could smell burning when the Climate was switched on and seems to think the burning smell is coming from the engine compartment. We have had issues with the spanner light coming on and the service oil message coming up a couple of times. The first time the oil was changed. I am told this is due to the DPF putting too much fuel in the oil due to it tring to regerate itself. Has anyone had any experience of this issue or smoke or burning smells in the engine compartment? Many thanks in anticipation for your replies. Regards. Matt
