HOPING TO GET RESPONSE THIS TIME OR SOME THEORY

CAR CAME IN FOR ALTERNATOR LIGHT ON--FITTED NEW ALT AND TO MY DISMAY IT IS THE SAME!

ONLY 13V SHOWING WHEN RUNNING BUT CAR STARTS OK CONNECTIONS CLEAN

WHATS GOING ON??

When you get the voltage reading are you getting it off the battery or off the alternator?
first place i would look would be the condition of the battery then start checking the wiring.

Might be a long shot but have you checked the fuses ?
F28 looks a likely suspect.
