lucas1787
Hi,I have noticed a rattling or pinking sound(like a butterfly on a carb)when accelerating and when labouring, more when pulling away and only when the throttles being used.Only noticed it, as my windows been open more with the good weather, but cant here it from inside.Has anyone got any ideas of what this could be.I have a 1.6 Zetec Petrol Treg. Thanks Dave
hawker
I get the exact same problem on my 2006 1.6TDCi I've heard it can possibly be related to dirty injectors, but I recently had the cambelt changed and it was noted that there was movement in the lower crankshaft pulley which can be another cause for this rattle.
