peedy17
Hi all, new here. Ive got a problem with my gf Ford Ka. Its 1.3 2003. 1st off the revs where fluctuating when idle and the engine stalled when the accelerator was depressed. I cleaned the air bypass valve and refitted. The problem was fixed for about an hour. Ive fitted a new Air bypass valve but now the engine sits at 1000rpm at idle. When i depress the accelerator it chugs, revs drop and theres no power there at all. Could this be the MAP sensor? Where is this located? I was told by the garage if i disconnect this it should work and ill fit a new one. Also the engime management light is on too Thanks for the help Pete
