C-Max Boy 1983
Hi all, I was in Asda yesterday and I spied a Mark 7 Fiesta on Fiesta ST alloys (without the centre caps)and I thought it looked ace, just wondered if anyone on here had ST alloys on their mark 7 and would post up some pics, I actually thought at first it was sporty Fiesta and it was debadged as well, just needed the stripes to finish it off. Cheers Davy

ASHMAN
The offset of the st fiesta is narrower than the standard alloy, which means the sit further into the arch. ;)

Mk7_Rbj
this is the problem we are all facing if wishing to upgrade to any OEM 17's as they all seem to have an offset of around 50whereas the mk7 fiesta is, i believe, suited to offset 37-45?? I too was also thinking about whether or not spacers would sort the situation
mikester
37-45 is a perfect offset for the fiesta. the standard alloys ford provide are always high, the ST's as mentioned are something like 52 iirc? this just menas that they are furthur in the arches as in tucked away. 12.5mm spacers will bring them to an offset of 40 which isn't bad at all. i had a wheel with offset of 35 on my mk6 and this was pushing it with spacers as well... see pic: would ride fine as long as i had no-one in the back as as soon as i did they'd rub on the arch lining
Mk7_Rbj
do spacers of that deep not put excess strain on the hubs and bearings though?
