  • Ford Model: Maverick Mk 3

Well never thought i would be buying another Ford, My first was a Mk 3 Cortina in 1980 when in Germany with the RAF that suffered the dreaded rust and ended upo with a ford Taunus front end and a Mk4 back axle. But here I am again - with a Mk 3 Maverick 2.0 XLT, not too bad so far, can be a bit thirsty (so I am told) if you take it over 70Mph but is doing me a good job travelling between Milton Keynes and Daventry daily. Got it for the towing ability and the 4 wheel drive which would not take me across Sailsbury Plain in the winter but will drag me out of trouble in a (flat) field or snow and ice. So again here I am, come and shoot me down.....
