rlyncn53
Hi My GF has a Ford Ka that has just started cutting out when approaching roundabouts etc. I have read it could be the idle control valve and that people tend to clean this out and still have problems - is this easy to replace or is it a dealer repair, can I buy the valvue from a good motoring shop and if so how much should it cost. Thanks for your time
vinnyvangough
Yea very simple to change so i have heard and a very very common problem. Not sure on the cost off hand though mate, but they are colour coded. They have a sticker on of a certain colour for the different age cars i think. Make sure you get the like for like replacement
Wellz
fairly simple change, IIRC they are about £80 from ford, might be wrong tho. I had to replace mine but that was over 2 years ago now ;)
