12V Cigarette Socket Broken?

the 12v socket is broken an no power gets to it... isit an common fault with an easy fix ???

Also check there are no 'foreign bodies' in the socket, I pulled a 5p piece out of one recently.

iam so dumb.. never thought to check the fuse!.. working again now... thanks.
