H3lly Posted September 2, 2010 Share Posted September 2, 2010 Easy. Remove the two self-tapping screws on top of the headlight unit. This will not be enough to remove the whole unit (there's another screw underneath), but it will give you a bit more finger space. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cressws1 Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 If its a MK1 like mine I did this: - Remove the Drivers side wheel - Remove the Wheel arch lining (3 or 4 screws, Really easy) - This reveals one bolt on the underside of the headlight unit, Remove this. - Remove the two bolts on the top of the headlight unit. NOTE: You might have to remove a plastic cover above the front grill to access one of the top bolts on the headlight unit, But this again is just 2/3 plastic lugs.
