Only on the very edge but more than !Removed! annoying What, in your opinion, is my best plan of attack?? Thanks RBJ
Michael P
Personally, i'd lump it and get over it. Doesn't look like it's worth any hassle.
Mk7_Rbj
Maybe on a Mk4! :P But this is down to the metal and i really want it sorted. It drivers side and about an inch long too so i will notice it all the time!
limbo
As it is on the door edge a good smart repair should do the trick, they will mask close to the front edge and you won't know it was there Cost about £
will-91
i did the exact same thing with my car and left it for a few months thinking ill get it over it, but everytime i looked at the car i was drawn to it ! i went to Halfords and bought a touch up pen kit for 12 pound, just phoned up ford, got my paint code and went down and bot it, worked amazing i must say not noticeable atalll anymore ! Michael P
Too true, i've got the luxury of knowing whatever happens doesn't matter!!
Al J
I did this on a previous car of mine. Get a quote for a smart repair as limbo suggested. Failing that, have a go yourself which is what I did and all was fine. I was patient for once and gradually built up coats, letting each one dry completely before adding the next. Al J
http://tinyurl.com/3a6c3m6 ;) He he! Thought that myself, if I'm being honest. Repairs where the offending scratch, dent, tear, is repaired without adding a new part, or treating the whole panel. Think of it like a tailor's 'invisible mending' only for cars. Flic
http://tinyurl.com/3a6c3m6 ;) Oohh, that's magic! How do you do that? I probably should just google it huh? :P Edit: Found it :D
