Crankshaft For Focus 1.4 Vs 1.6

Hi all,

so the crankshaft of my Ford Focus is dead and I need a replacement one.

I have 1,6 16V 74kW petrol engine, the car was made in 2000.

I was told that the shaft for the 1.6 is the same as for 1.4 engine- can anyone please confirm?

I can not find any shaft from 1.6 engine around me, but a nearby car cemetery has one from the 1.4.

Thanks for your help/advice.
