Hi Everyone,

Thanks for any help you can give. I would like to know how to remove the key blade from my 2007 ford focus key fob. It's the key fob with the button on it to release the key blade. I can get the the key fob into two halfes but I can't see how to remove the blade.

I have purchase a second key fob from ebay the idea is that I can get a new key blade cut and recode it.

the key blade should just clip away with the help of a small screwdriver which will leave you with the blade which has some of the plastic attached and the transponder fob which then just splits for battery replacement
