Hi, I recently looked through the latest ford accessories catalogue and there was an upgraded front fog light complete with an LED strip for daytime running for the 2008 Focus -
This was 1-complete unit with the LED strip fitted below the circular fog lamp. Not sure if any one has seen these or bought any? There were no prices in the book but had a part number and stated to contact ford for further details - presume they would be fully road legal? Not sure if I would be able to fit these to my titanium 2008 model or not - probably a right price from ford I'd say!

they are legal yes drls are illegal if they do not run independantly of the front headlights as when a high beam is selected the drls must switch off and hardwiring them to the headlight does not do this likely the ford ones will be expensive but proper ones are all thats usually required is to change the relay in the engine fuse box and youre set to go

Daytime running lights (LED DRL) are a low-cost method to reduce crashes. It can improve the noticeability and detectability of vehicle in the central and peripheral fields of view. From home to hotel, from shop to street, from office to plaza. A new green way to light up your life for led lights.
