2010 Focus 1.8 Stalk Adaptor Lead

Folks, I need a stalk adaptor lead for an aftermarket stereo but there are two choices; one with ingnition lead and one without ignition lead. The stereo is an oval shaped 6000 if that helps? any idea's for a 2010 Focus 1.8?

What do you mean by ignition lead? steering wheel control lead?

I want to change the stereo, the stalk adaptor (so the stereo can be controlled by the stalk) comes in two flavours. One with the loom that has an ignition feed and the other that doesn't. Does that help?

Can anyone tell me if this has the ignition wire in the loom?

There is a guy on eBay called liquidice. He does all sorts of car audio accessories and he should be able to tell you what you need. I've purchased from his shop before.

pc99-x50 is the part i used to get my sony headunit to work with the stalk...not too sure if this will be compatable with the newer focuses.

u also have to get pc99-son (sony) or whatever manufacturer it is to interface the radio into the pc99-x50 loom.

Cheers johnH, a day of googling and it comes up with the same answer as yours. Incredibly I have called at least six Car Audio specialists and not one of them could give me th answer. Some never even called me back (included liquidice!)

I have the same issue, want to fit an aftermarket (Kenwood) to a focus 2010 reg. Please could you confirm if the pc99-x50 loom is suitable or if connects 2 with / or without ignition leads is required.
