Side Window Rubbers Not Clearing Window

Some rain-X on the windows and the water will just run off once you get going

to be fair the water runs off anyway when you move its mire annoying that you cant see out you're windows when trying to get out the drive easiest solution put the window down

I think this is a design issue. Older cars have window rubbers that touch the glass and clear rain and snow, but newer cars seem to have rubbers that don't touch the glass. So there's a gap which allows rain in and also lets algae form on the felt strip in the door.
