zetecblue
Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I've just had the windscreen replaced in my Zetec Blue 08 and now the little display panel in the instrument panel is saying auto lights/wiper failure. The headlights are now staying on all the time. Is there any way to reset this??
mintalkin
did they refit and connect the sensors back up when they fitted the new screen?

mintalkin
on some cars you can reset the auto headlights your hand book should tell you if this is an option, the sensors used to be behind the interior mirror and i think they are still in this position. without taking the trim off its hard to tell if they are connected but it sounds like a sensor fault if the system wont reset. Keith Nokes
Hi just had a problem with Fiesta Metal 2011. Message saying auto wiper/ lights malfunction Next service & auto lights stay on even in daylight, I found out it is a blown fuse 7.5a fuse in the fuse box behind the glove box( No 1 fuse) says for ignition, rain sensor, heated front screen in the hand book, it stopped my heated front screen, A/C from working, auto wipers & my auto lights stayed on when it was daylight, hope this helps someone else, many thanks Keith. unofix
He's not going to answer you, he last visited this forum 2nd October 2008. Better to explain your problem in full and someone will be able to help. Have you replaced your windscreen? If yes then which company did the work?
