sharon123456
It is extremely dangerous to smoke during pregnancy. It is not only dangerous for the mother but also for the baby. When the mother smokes, the baby is also exposed to dangerous chemicals like nicotine, carbon monoxide and tar. Cigarettes cut down the amount of oxygen supplied to the baby. This is very dangerous as it may damage the baby’s lungs. The mother who smokes is likely to have an ectopic pregnancy, vaginal bleeding, placental abruption, placenta previa and stillbirth. Babies born to mothers who smoke are likely to be born with birth defects like cleft lip or palate, born prematurely or have low birth weight. Babies born prematurely and with a low birth weight are susceptible to other serious health problems including lifelong disabilities and sometimes even death. It is not advisable for pregnant women to use stop smoking medications or nicotine replacement therapies. It is preferable to use natural smoking cessation techniques. One such technique is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). It is a therapy technique that has been successfully used by therapists for many years as a Help to quit smoking . It shows a high success rate of 97.2%, which is higher than any other smoking cessation method. This method targets on removing the craving for smoking. This method involves listening to an NLP audio recording which can be done even at home. NLP is easy and fast and thus saves time. There are no side effects associated with this method as it involves just listening to an audio recording.
