Hi,

I've just acquired an R reg fiesta and the driver seat forward-back adjuster is disconnected. I have the grooved pin and can located this in the cable loop to manually loosen the catches but can't seem to be able to re-locate it in the handle mechanism on the right of the seat.

Short of taking out the whole seat and slide mechanism is there any other way to re-locate it? Considering the finger traps and cuts I've already got, I suspect that the bill would be big from any garage or ford dealer.

I must admit without removing the seat i think it may be quite difficult to sort out the problem
