Hi guys, I have a 05 1.8 tdci focus, last week the engine warning light came on, when I start up it's off, but whenever I get to around 2000 revs it comes on and car feels sluggish. It does not want to go over 2000 revs and feels a little like it's running out of diesel?? Any ideas
Thanks Jimmy

Sounds like the car is in "limp" mode, i believe that it wont go over 2k revs to prevent damage to the engine. You'll need to get it to a garage and get them to hook it up to a diagnostics machine.
