Was talking to a man about these the other day on another forum, Here's his post, hope this helps

thank you laura next will be a gti kit its gonna go gti first then euro because euro will cost more to do so i want it looking nice in the mean time like the stuff you've bought just bear in mind when you fit yours dont over tighten the screws its easy to crack the plastic also taking the bumper off is a piece of cake the hardest side for me was the drivers side because you have a radiator cover in the way so a lot of it is done by touch you will also have to either solder and tape or use a conector to wire the halo rings in for your side lights mine didn't come pre wired you get to wires out of the connector block black (negative) and white mine where and you get 2 sets of wires for the halo rings you have to join both black connectors and white connectors and put them in the connector and then connect them to the same coloured wire E.G white wires to white and black to black dont get it wrong it could completly nacker the rings.

Wow thats an essay lol sorry if it sounds patronising not sure what skills of machinaics you have im sure its good though.

make sure you fit a fuse connector.. because if these have a small fault you could end up with serious problems. prolly 50P will be a life saver.

i have seen a member on another club had this, he bought led eyebrows off eBay... fitted and working, next minute they were smoldering, luckily someone spotted it.
