I have a ford fiesta 2006 & the double locking button has stopped working( indicator lights dont flash any more).
If i press the lock button once it still locks all doors (centrol locked)
If i use the key in the lock it will only lock drivers door ( no centrol locking) all other doors still unlocked. Also no double locking if i turn the key right & left.
I know i can still lock the car overnight. Is this the start of a knackered key fob?
Can anyone help me please
Thanks

I read about sumet like this in my manual. You can change how the car locks when you press the lock button ie unlocks drivers door. It can be reprogrammed by pressing a sequence of buttons on the fob.

manual says press unlock and lock buttons together for 4 seconds which will change the open drivers door or open all doors, tried that. Also opened bonnet and closed it. Didnt work!!
However, said that i've just been out to try it all again and everything is fine key works, double locking working ( indicators flash ) maybe it did work.
thanks
