Going to be changing the plugs on my focus 1.6 petrol mk1 soon.Wondered if motorcraft are the best bet and if i can buy them from motor

discount shop not main dealer. Thanks. :D

hi focus frank, in my manual (haynes) the plugs quoted for a 1.6 are Bosch with a gap of 1mm. personaly i have always used Bosch super four or super plus, and never had a problem with them,however they are on the expensive side,maybe do a google and see if you can find them cheap on the web. hope this helps!

genuine plugs are by far the best way to go, and only about £12 a set.

other plugs have been known to cause coil pack problems.
