Hello all,

I recently bought a 2006 model Focus Ghia Saloon - lovely car but sometimes the boot light stays on. I have taken the bulb out so the battery doesn't drain, but was wondering if there was an easy long-term fix, or if I should take it to my dealer to get it looked at (I have a warranty).

Thanks in advance!

Dr. S.

If you have a warranty, you may as well take it to the dealer, all costs are covered so that should be good for you! sounds like the sensor for the boot locking mechanism may be playing up!
