Surfer Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 Over the past week the EML has been coming on after travelling about 10 miles. If you switch off the engine, wait a few minutes and then go it takes a couple of miles before it come sback on. I have taken it to Ford who tell me that there is a problem with the fuel vaporiser but they have none in stock! The car has about 2500 miles on it and is a 2010 MkIV Mondeo 2.0L diesel 140bhp auto. Is thsi a common problem on this engine as a google shows that the Kuga also has issues with thsi vaporiser. makes me wonder how often this part is going to break down.
