Hello,

Lets check what do you think is essential for such a small space in our fiest's boot.

My boot has:

* Towing rope

* Jump leads

* Set of tools (i think its 40 piece)

* Car snow socks (Just recently bought and will definatelly help me next time when it snow)

* Decicer and Ice/snow scraper

* Cable ties

* Few different types of cloths

* Scissors (probably dont need them)

* Sealer tape (tip from my old mate who is a mechanic)

* Safety vest

* Car fault code reader (havnt used it for this car yet but i know where the plug is)

* Tyre repair kit and inflater (hidden underneath)

* Vacum cleaner (small portable one and i should probably leave in the shed instead)

All stored in a medium sized bag which takes about 1/3 of the whole space :/

Missing things:

* No wheel jack as I have no spare wheel but there is a tyre repair kit instead.

Will need:

* bulbs (will buy spare ones when one of them fails)

* First aid kit (need to find one cheap)

Let us know whats in your boot.

Nothing. Hate the noise of stuff moving when on the move, also on a mpg mission so no extra weight allowed

What are these snow socks TroodoN? Can you post a link to them please? They sound interesting!

I bought Multi Grip Car Snow Socks for 50 + pounds and 8 for delivery. I chose not to buy the cheapest ones and I think I made the right choice because quality looks good. To me its a better option than snow chains with roads and amount of snow here in GB.

towing eye and fuel funnel, emptied it in prep for new car, maybe tomorrow.

But have tried a full 17" wheel in there, and sits a little high, but upside down, makes a good bucket!

Good to know - always wondered if it would fit in there should I get a puncture. Didn't want the wheel inside the car!

I have a blanket (on my Mother's advice) some jackets and a pair of boots :unsure:

Basically, nothing of any use to anyone!

Oh, also an umbrella.

Absolutely nothing in the boot of either car that wasn't there when I bought them, oh, apart from a decent tyre pressure gauge under the floor in my car.

I have an RAC card in my wallet, that should cover most things.
