Fiesta 08, Cold Starts And Vibration Problems? Help!

Hi, im new to the forum and really stuggling

i have a ford fiesta zetec blue, 2008, petrol

The main problem is the cold starts, i go to turn the car over and it makes a few noises then cuts out, i turn everything off and start again, the car starts! however, if i touch the accelerator, the cars revs dive up then drop dangerously close to stalling and then stutters back to 800rmp

when driving cold this does this, i dip the clutch coming to a stop and the revs drop horribly low and then goes back up after a while, first problem, anyideas?!

to top it off, lately ive had a huge problem with vibrations when coming to idle. the cars revs jump from like 900 - 1000 and vibrates horribly!

ive seen a post about getting a diagnostic and then updating the fiesta's pcm file? whats the success rate? cause ive paid out £200 to a local dealer having a diagnostic and he found no problems! he replaced my spark plugs coil and leads, problem is still there, vibrations!

i know he couldnt check for a ford update, but ford said if there isnt an up date it will be a £60 charge for the diagnostic to check reguardless?

please help! Paul
