Hi :)

I have seen a 2002 02 Reg FORD Mondeo 2.0TDCi 130 LX for sale I would like to go for it but I am concerned about the amount of mileage on it, 176,000! :o, anyone got any idea of what mondeos are good for regarding miles, is this too many miles. Oh and the price is £1,750, what do you think?
Any thoughts welcome, thanks

Cheap car really. If it has a good service history i wouldnt worry about the mileage.

its the dual mass flywheel check for any kind of rattles, noises when the clutch is depressed/released anything suspect could be dmf issues and is £800 to put right. also any kind of missfire at around 1800-2200 rmp could br egr valve(engine gas recycle) or injector codeing required. check out any possible problems at the forum page of
