MartynS
Should have bought an Edge or Studio - wouldn't have been a problem then!
Rogue_Shadow
shouldn't be too expensive to replace surely
sparticus5
The exact thing I said when I seen it! Excuse my ignorance but I'd have thought the complete opposite. A stone hitting the windscreen would have cost £10 excess to repair or £60-£70 to replace and your insurance wouldn't have been affected. Not 100% sure about Fords but front fogs normally come as sealed units ie you'd have to purchase a brand new unit. Perhaps one of those online breaker yards might be able to help / reduce the cost a little. Just had a look at flee bay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-fiesta-mk8-fog-light-focus-2008-10-/250771329121?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a6322d061#ht_500wt_1156 Might be of some help to you? Chris Ecc
I've seen them ones on eBay, got a mate whos got a spare one so gonna attempt some surgery on it and get it sorted. I use my car like every day for work so if the windscreen chipped wudn't be too bad but if it cracked be a right pain! What precision stone like!
