Tdci Mk3 Wont Start Without The Use Of Easy Start

Hi Gents new hear also using Talk ford,

I have an issue with the the Mondeo TDCI 2002 115 not starting

I have checked all the lines for leaks,

I used clear pipe and drained off over a litre of diesel and did not see any air bubbles,

The filter is full up,

Its this green coupler im sure of it, the one connected to the fuel pump tempature.

If you leave it connected and fire the car with easy start it will run for no more that 30 sec before the glow plug light flashes and the car cuts out,

If you disconnect the coupler and fire the car with easy start the car will run fine with no sign of cutting out,

The problem is Ford do not sell this sensor which is believed to be a tempature sensor,

Does anyone have one I can try or buy?

some one must have a broken high pressure pump which the sensor would be ok in, if not can some one read the resistance accross the two pins so I can frig the ECU into thinking its ok.

The fact the car runs after its started with no concerns rule's out the high pressure pump and leaks etc... the car rev's smoothly and ticks over smooth well as smooth as TDCI engine does.

the reading across the pins in 1.65 ohms

when dipped in boiling water it goes down to about 0.6 ohms,

there is no continuity between either pin and the casing though?

going the other way from the coupler,

White and blue 5.7 ohms

other colour 0.5 ohms

this is from the negative on the battery.

any help gents would be greatly received
