Loss Of Power 2004 Tdci Mondeo ?

Hello there.

I have a problem with my car that i can't seem to figure out and hoped someone might be able to help. When i try to start the engine it turns over for a long time before firing. When it does start the smoke coming from the exhaust is white and there is a strong smell of fumes inside the car. When i'm griving the turbo doesn't kick in. I've plugged it into the computer which showed an air flow problem/sensor problem and i changed the sensor with no result.

Any help much appreciated
