ADSST
Hi I have just purchased a 2003 Focus ST170. The car has a small problem when driving through town. It seems at 30mph and 50mph the engine seems to sort of stutter very slightly but after a good blast it seem to clear it up for a while. Previously the engine light came on showing the first lamder sensor was shot which I replaced straight away and I hoped this would of solved the stuttering which it didnt. The car is totally standard with 22700miles on the clock. Hope someone can help diagnose the problem. Thanks in advance Adam
Leemaxd
Sounds like it could be the fuel filter , have herd of this before

Where is the fuel filter, is it under the car or in the engine bay . Cheers
Leemaxd
Not totally sure to be honest, sure someone else can tell you on here or google it.
taffg
fuel filter will probably be down by the fuel tank under the car, just look for the hoses.
