Hi All

Has anyone else noticed how much of a poor fit the parcel shelf is on the mk7's. I know its only a small thing, but it has so much play in it from side to side. On mine if you push it fully to the left or right it actually drops of the other side and drops into the boot.

Just wondered if they were all like this or not???

Regards
Adrian

Havnt noticed the play in it by moving it from side to side, but it may actually explain why the bl**dy things constantly rattles around so much to the point of having to remove it.

Going over speedbumps or evern just rough roads is enough to start it bouncing and rattling around.

Biggest annoyance in my fiesta !!!

yep, mine does the same!

Have to say though that this is the first time i've seen it out of a few mk7's, so their manufacturing's bad but not tooooo bad!

I think it's called a Parcel Shelf as it has the structural integrity of a wet parcel.

Haven't noticed any sideways movement in mine. It does rattle over bigger bumps but not all the time.

Yes ours rattles about, which is a pity as it's the only rattler. Touch wood.
