Cd Changer

i just brought a puma and it has a 5000 rds cassette stereo and it says i have the option of a cd changer, i have a kenwood disc changer and just wondering if this will work with it or do i need fords original? also what cable to i need to go from stereo to cd changer?

It will not connect directly (Ford, like all OEMs, use a proprietary protocoll), you might be able to find an adaptor/interface (from Ford ACP to Kenwood), which would include the wiring/cables.

so its not a single cable that joins the changer to the stereo?
