Hi all, hoping to pick a few brains prior to taking action. I'm driving an 06 C-max, 24000 miles. Today I noticed that when letting the clutch pedal back up it stops maybe 2 cm from the top then pops up against the bottom of my foot. I can feel some obvious interference with the accelerator at this point (it wont let me push the accelerator until it pops up, although this is only momentary). Some extra info, which may be relevant - did a long trip yesterday eve (3 hours motorway). It was cold last night but has warmed up today. Any advice would be greatfully received.

ford have had trouble with the clutch return springs either breaking or becoming dislodged so this would be the first thing to check.
