On my 04 fiesta, suddenly the CD player will not work and flashes up fault code E24. The CD spins up but then just "trips" back to the radio.

Any idea what E24 is and the rectification process??

Any pointers will help.

Cheers,

Rob

you could try removing the fuse for a couple of hours to see if the unit will reset, make sure you know your radio code before doing this.

It's something to do with the cd lens losing it's efficiency and disconnecting the fuse or battery wont fix it.
