Antynwa
Long story cut short, I thought my drivers side door speaker had blown. I replaced the speaker and that didn't solve the issue. I did however replace my radio and there was sound for about 10 seconds before it came off again. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and if it could be fixed at home. My Model is a Mk 1 51 Plate.

Antynwa
check the wiring inside the rubber boot between the door & car body they usually break inside the rubber housing just cut the rubber to reveal the wires Thank you. There was a clean cut within the tubing, and it's sorted. However the connection to the door is very loose. Not the wiring more the suction around it. Any advice to make it much more firmer so to speak?
