Has anyone had this problem? I contacted the dealer and they have tried to tell me that this in normal but it dosnt seem right to me!! any advice?? btmaldon
Its definately not normal, and suggests you have a sticky fuel sender. It may free up over time as the car is new, but I have not heard of this on a new motor. Common on old ones or accident damaged cars. jeebowhite
I had that on my focus, I drove over a transit bumper, and it stuffed the FSU, it resolved itself within a few months, but it irritated me till then! On a new car though, you should get it looked at under warranty - shouldnt cost anything as its an "inherent fault"
p38fln
Absolutely not normal - try a different dealer
rachl
I’m bought second hand ford Kuga and this is happening to my car. the garage saying it’s normal and it’s horrible to drive and see the needle drop to empty when you had like 100 miles left in it. The garage is saying into normal though?
