Nice work, Lenny.

I have one question for you: the old grill that you took off the car, can it be used again? Did you break any clips or some fixing parts of it?

I'm asking this because I want to paint my grill grey, like the ones on Mondeo Titanium, and I wouldn't buy a new grill.

I have the old grill packaged up in the attic, i can post it for 25 if your interested, around 3 of the clips are cracked bearing in mind their are 20 clips around the grill and the 3 that are split are not all beside each other.

PM me if your interested in purchasing.

Lenny you must spend hours typing these up! :P

some of them i have taken up to four hours mate,

checking the spelling and uploading all the pictures, then sorting the pictures in the correct order,

but its all worth it in the end, helps others see how to do it and also what envolved before they start,

and their great to look back on :)

thanks for the apprecieation mate,

I’ve updated the first Post of this Guide the Guide to Include a Download PDF File of the Guide.

Figured this would be useful to others being able to print out the Guide and refer to it during the Modification Process.B)

if your grill has the chrome lip then you need to pull the chrome lip instead of the black grill because the grill is seperate to the black grill

but it is the chrome that is clipped to the bumper section.

Great Guide Lenny, am now in the process of doing the one for the upper grille ;)

Thanks mate,

Ive also upgrade the front upper grill, but i didnt create a guide due to some people having difficulty with their bonnet lock after changing grills,

I thought it best not to leave myself open to blame and accusation lol

Its an easy upgrade though, just remove slam panel screws and two from top of grill then pull straigh forwards.

Only tricky part is transfering the screw and spring from the flip badge to the new grill, ensuring the pin on th3 spring stays 8n the corrisponding holes.

You really need to remove the grill to put the chrome on it

i mean you can clip the the chrome on it, no ?

The Titanium spec grill from ford comes in two seperate parts.

The grill section is just a flat surface and is not capable of being fitted to the bumper without the chrome grill suround.

The chrome suround clips around the specific grill centre, and also clips to the bumper

It is impossible to fit the genuine ford chrome surround on top of any other grill except the specific grill centre from ford.
