Hi all,newby to this site

I own a w reg ford fiesta turbo diesel and on parking car up i could smell oil

so lifted bonnet that revealed oil in the expansion tank

The oil is not creamy in the tank or in the rocker cover or on dipstick so i

would,nt have thought headgasket

The engine runs perfect and no bubbles coming from expansion tank

All answers wanted, cheers mark

HGF, it is the only reason for oil getting into the cooling system that I can think off.

Hi

Dont Guess a headgasket failure as it could cost you a new engine "could"

Get it Diagnosed and then you know where you stand.

Currently in my own opinion all crosshairs are pointing at headgasket.

Took car to garage tuesday and it was the oil cooler that was at fault and not the headgasket

Car is running great again but cost £420.00 in total, new oil ,filter and antifreeze
