P2623 Injector Control Pressure Regulator

My car keeps going into limp mode and cutting out randomly, the above code is what has been read, can anyone shed some light? My local garage can't seem to help and I cant afford to take it do a ford garage

I think your cars a diesel but is it? Also how many miles has it done?

It seems like this can be down to faulty sensor, mechanical part, or short circuit. the likelyhood is you are going to need someone experienced to look at it if you are not so DIY savvy with your car.

The fact that its the regulator, means it could be a sensor, but there isnt a step by step guide on what to do if you see error code XYZ on your car...

Yeah its a TDCi, 68k....

If you can afford the diagnostic at ford I would suggest do it, even if you dont get them to do the work, they should diagnose the faulty part, and you / your local garage can do it instead at a much more realistic price :)
