1st timer,hi to you all.fiesta 1.3 starts ok and runs no matter how long you leave it,problem is no power after about 45mph,have done plugs,fuel filter,air filter.problem only been doing very short journeys.

it could be many things, brakes dragging,part blocked cat,valves require adjustment,coil pack,without an inspection its hard to diaganoise.

thanks for your responce ,can push car so brakes are not binding,there is slight tappet rattle but not to much.would coil pack be a problem with it starting and running so easily.i just dont know.

start the car and place the palm of your hand infront of exhaust (couple of inches away) and feel for exhaust gasses, then get someone to give it a rev and see if gasses increase. this will tell you if the cat has gone and blocking the exhaust. the cat went on my old car and stopped it going above 30mph
