jab25bike Posted May 28, 2011 Share Posted May 28, 2011 1st timer,hi to you all.fiesta 1.3 starts ok and runs no matter how long you leave it,problem is no power after about 45mph,have done plugs,fuel filter,air filter.problem only been doing very short journeys. jab25bike Posted May 30, 2011 Author Share Posted May 30, 2011 thanks for your responce ,can push car so brakes are not binding,there is slight tappet rattle but not to much.would coil pack be a problem with it starting and running so easily.i just dont know. Motocrossmad Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 start the car and place the palm of your hand infront of exhaust (couple of inches away) and feel for exhaust gasses, then get someone to give it a rev and see if gasses increase. this will tell you if the cat has gone and blocking the exhaust. the cat went on my old car and stopped it going above 30mph Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
